Travel Dhikr

سُبْحَانَ الَّذِي سَخَّرَ لَنَا هَذَا وَمَا كُنَّا لَهُ مُقْرِنِينَ وَإِنَّا إِلَى رَبِّنَا لَمُنقَلِبُونَ

Subhanal-ladhi sakhkhara lana hadha wa ma kunna lahu muqrinin, wa inna ila rabbina lamunqalibun.

Glory to Him who has subjected this to us, and we could not have [otherwise] subdued it. And indeed we are to our Lord returning.

اللَّهُمَّ إِنَّا نَسْأَلُكَ فِي سَفَرِنَا هَذَا الْبِرَّ وَالتَّقْوَى، وَمِنَ الْعَمَلِ مَا تَرْضَى، اللَّهُمَّ هَوِّنْ عَلَيْنَا سَفَرَنَا هَذَا وَاطْوِ عَنَّا بُعْدَهُ، اللَّهُمَّ أَنْتَ الصَّاحِبُ فِي السَّفَرِ وَالْخَلِيفَةُ فِي الأَهْلِ

Allahumma inni nas'aluka fi safarina hadhal-birra wat-taqwa, wa minal-amali ma tardha. Allahumma hawwin alayna safarana hadha wat-tawi anna bu'dah. Allahumma antas-sahibu fis-safari wal-khalifatu fil-ahl.

O Allah, we ask You for righteousness and piety in this journey of ours, and for deeds that You are pleased with. O Allah, make this journey easy for us and shorten its distance. O Allah, You are the Companion in travel and the Guardian of the family.

اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ وَعْثَاءِ السَّفَرِ وَكَآبَةِ الْمَنْظَرِ وَسُوءِ الْمُنْقَلَبِ فِي الْمَالِ وَالأَهْلِ

Allahumma inni a'oodhu bika min wa'thaa'is-safari wa ka'abatil-manzari wa soo'il-munqalabi fil-mali wal-ahl.

O Allah, I seek refuge in You from the hardships of travel, from having a gloomy outlook, and from finding evil changes in wealth and family.

آمَنَ الرَّسُولُ بِمَا أُنزِلَ إِلَيْهِ مِن رَّبِّهِ وَالْمُؤْمِنُونَ ۚ كُلٌّ آمَنَ بِاللَّهِ وَمَلَائِكَتِهِ وَكُتُبِهِ وَرُسُلِهِ لَا نُفَرِّقُ بَيْنَ أَحَدٍ مِّن رُّسُلِهِ ۚ وَقَالُوا سَمِعْنَا وَأَطَعْنَا ۖ غُفْرَانَكَ رَبَّنَا وَإِلَيْكَ الْمَصِيرُ

Amana ar-rasoolu bima unzila ilayhi min rabbihi wal-mu'minoon. Kullun amana billahi wa mala'ikatihi wa kutubihi wa rusulih. La nufarriqu bayna ahadin min rusulih. Wa qaloo sami'na wa ata'na ghufranaka rabbana wa ilaykal-maseer.

The Messenger has believed in what was revealed to him from his Lord, and [so have] the believers. All of them have believed in Allah and His angels and His books and His messengers, [saying], "We make no distinction between any of His messengers." And they say, "We hear and we obey. [We seek] Your forgiveness, our Lord, and to You is the [final] destination."

رَبَّنَا آتِنَا فِي الدُّنْيَا حَسَنَةً وَفِي الْآخِرَةِ حَسَنَةً وَقِنَا عَذَابَ النَّارِ

Rabbana atina fid-dunya hasanatan wa fil-akhirati hasanatan wa qina adhaban-nar.

Our Lord, give us good in this world and good in the Hereafter and protect us from the punishment of the Fire.

سُبْحَانَ اللَّهِ

Subhanallah

Glory be to Allah

الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ

Alhamdulillah

Praise be to Allah

اللَّهُ أَكْبَرُ

Allahu Akbar

Allah is the Greatest
