Bedtime Dhikr

بِاسْمِكَ رَبِّـي وَضَعْـتُ جَنْـبي ، وَبِكَ أَرْفَعُـه، فَإِن أَمْسَـكْتَ نَفْسـي فارْحَـمْها ، وَإِنْ أَرْسَلْتَـها فاحْفَظْـها بِمـا تَحْفَـظُ بِه عِبـادَكَ الصّـالِحـين.

Bismika rabbee wada'tu janbee, wa bika arfa'uh, fa-in amsakta nafsee farhamha, wa in arsaltaha fahfazha bima tahfazu bihi ibadakas-saliheen.

In Your name, my Lord, I lay down my side, and by You I raise it. If You take my soul, have mercy on it, and if You release it, protect it with what You protect Your righteous servants.

اللّهُـمَّ إِنَّـكَ خَلَـقْتَ نَفْسـي وَأَنْـتَ تَوَفّـاهـا لَكَ ممَـاتـها وَمَحْـياها ، إِنْ أَحْيَيْـتَها فاحْفَظْـها ، وَإِنْ أَمَتَّـها فَاغْفِـرْ لَـها . اللّهُـمَّ إِنَّـي أَسْـأَلُـكَ العـافِـيَة.

Allahumma innaka khalaqta nafsee wa anta tawaffaha, laka mamatuha wa mahyaha, in ahyaytaha fahfazha, wa in amattaha faghfir laha. Allahumma inni as'aluka al-afiyah.

O Allah, You created my soul and You will take it, to You belongs its death and its life. If You give it life, protect it, and if You cause it to die, forgive it. O Allah, I ask You for well-being.

اللّهُـمَّ قِنـي عَذابَـكَ يَـوْمَ تَبْـعَثُ عِبـادَك.

Allahumma qini adhabaka yawma tab'athu ibadak.

O Allah, protect me from Your punishment on the day You resurrect Your servants.

بِاسْـمِكَ اللّهُـمَّ أَمـوتُ وَأَحْـيا.

Bismika allahumma amootu wa ahya.

In Your name, O Allah, I die and I live.

الـحَمْدُ للهِ الَّذي أَطْـعَمَنا وَسَقـانا، وَكَفـانا، وَآوانا، فَكَـمْ مِمَّـنْ لا كـافِيَ لَـهُ وَلا مُـؤْوي.

Alhamdu lillahil-ladhi at'amana wa saqana, wa kafana, wa awana, fakam mimman la kafiya lahu wa la mu'wi.

Praise be to Allah who fed us, gave us drink, sufficed us, and gave us shelter. How many there are who have no one to provide for them or give them shelter.

اللّهُـمَّ عالِـمَ الغَـيبِ وَالشّـهادةِ فاطِـرَ السّماواتِ وَالأرْضِ رَبَّ كُـلِّ شَـيءٍ وَمَليـكَه، أَشْهـدُ أَنْ لا إِلـهَ إِلاّ أَنْت، أَعـوذُ بِكَ مِن شَـرِّ نَفْسـي، وَمِن شَـرِّ الشَّيْـطانِ وَشِـرْكِه، وَأَنْ أَقْتَـرِفَ عَلـى نَفْسـي سوءاً أَوْ أَجُـرَّهُ إِلـى مُسْـلِم.

Allahumma alimal-ghaybi wash-shahadah, fatiras-samawati wal-ard, rabba kulli shay'in wa malikah, ashhadu an la ilaha illa ant, a'udhu bika min sharri nafsee, wa min sharri sh-shaytani wa shirkih, wa an aqtarifa ala nafsee su'an aw ajurrahu ila muslim.

O Allah, Knower of the unseen and the seen, Creator of the heavens and the earth, Lord and Sovereign of all things, I bear witness that there is no god but You. I seek refuge in You from the evil of myself, from the evil of Satan and his associates, and from committing any evil against myself or bringing it upon a Muslim.

اللّهُـمَّ أَسْـلَمْتُ نَفْـسي إِلَـيْكَ، وَفَوَّضْـتُ أَمْـري إِلَـيْكَ، وَوَجَّـهْتُ وَجْـهي إِلَـيْكَ، وَأَلْـجَـأْتُ ظَهْـري إِلَـيْكَ، رَغْبَـةً وَرَهْـبَةً إِلَـيْكَ، لا مَلْجَـأَ وَلا مَنْـجـى مِنْـكَ إِلاّ إِلَـيْكَ، آمَنْـتُ بِكِتـابِكَ الّـذي أَنْزَلْـتَ، وَبِنَبِـيِّـكَ الّـذي أَرْسَلْـتَ.

Allahumma aslamtu nafsee ilayk, wa fawwadtu amree ilayk, wa wajjahtu wajhi ilayk, wa alja'tu zahree ilayk, raghbatan wa rahbatan ilayk, la malja'a wa la manja minka illa ilayk, amantu bikitabikal-ladhi anzalt, wa binabiyyikal-ladhi arsalt.

O Allah, I have submitted myself to You, and I have entrusted my affair to You, and I have turned my face to You, and I have relied on You, out of hope and fear of You. There is no refuge and no escape from You except to You. I believe in Your Book which You have sent down, and in Your Prophet whom You have sent.

سُبْحَانَ اللَّهِ

Subhanallah

Glory be to Allah

الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ

Alhamdulillah

Praise be to Allah

اللَّهُ أَكْبَرُ

Allahu Akbar
